About the Book

The Afterdark world of Haven was far more terrible and beautiful than Pil Persins could ever have expected. But not everyone had survived the mission aboveground. They had been betrayed, and the traitor revealed a name that would soon become infamous: The Castaway King. As Pil and his friends return back underground they learn that in their absence a war has begun. The Elfin Mound Southden had been invaded by monsters and Fairy, and at the head of this army is the mysterious Castaway King. The Exidite need to know what is going on in Southden, they need to know the Castaway King’s plan. And for that, they need Pil. But Pil will have to use every ounce of cunning, strength, and magic he has if he intends to survive. In the midst of enemies, traitors, monsters, and even the Castaway King himself -- never has it been more important to keep his secrets close, and his friends alive. MIRRORS OF EDEN IS THE SECOND BOOK IN THE CASTAWAY KING CHRONICLES SERIES

About the Author

Spencer Labbe lives with his amazingly supportive wife and their three fur-children in Ventura County. He received an arts degree, and therefore never really expected to find a “real” job. In place of such a job , he creates worlds. He also enjoys coffee, vacation, and not really doing much at all.

His debut series The Castaway King Chronicles follows three young Elfin as they deal with harsh realities of their world. In his own worlds: “Reading has always been an expansive part of my personality. It had become an obsession for me. I ate, slept, and bled the written word for several years. From that, my drive grew to create other worlds; whether that be on canvas or on paper.

Review

I never expected to be drawn back into the fantasy world, where magic exist. How could something so small, have such an impact? But The Castaway King Chronicles has. It has brought me such joy knowing there is still magic in the world...... magic that can capture even the faintest of hearts. This Book, this series is a calling for everybody to come home.

“Mirrors of Eden,” is the second installment in the Castaway Chronicles and it does not disappoint. Just when you think everything is going to turn out fine, your given a rude awakening. So much happens in this book, that I can not begin to fantom how this series will end.

While searching for the book information for “The Mirrors of Eden,” I came across a review on Amazon. It made me think and I would definitely recommend this book to any Harry Potter fan. I have enjoyed this series so far and can not wait until the next installment.

I want to personally thank the author, Spencer Labbe for the amazing bookmarks, I just wish their was one for Damian. I can not wait until the next one.
